Sanitary Electromagnetic Flowmeter

For Hygienic Applications

The Sanitary Electromagnetic Flowmeter is designed to meet the requirements of dairy, food, beverages, brewery and pharmaceutical industries for applications that demand hygienic, accurate and reliable flow measurement.

To maintain hygiene in production processes, the flow meter is constructed with complete Stainless Steel Housing and available with sanitary process connections such as Tri-clamp or SMS Union. The sensor is also fully CIP/SIP cleanable so that it is easy to clean all parts exposed to process media.

The electromagnetic flow meter works on the principle of Faraday’s law of Electromagnetic Induction.

A magnetic field is generated by the instrument in the flow tube. The fluid flowing through this magnetic field generates a voltage that is proportional to the flow velocity. This voltage is measured by the electronics and a corresponding output provided.
